Pakistan Cosmetics Manufacturers Association (PCMA) was formed on 28’¹ February, 2015 with the aim to represent the cosmetics industry and to provide technical and management support to its members.
In the year 2016, it was recognized by Government of Pakistan and got registered with Directorate General of Trade Organization, Ministry of Commerce and industry and attained registration with Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as non-proﬁt organization. Pakistan Cosmetics Manufacturers Association is also member of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) since 2016.
Within a short span of time it has become the only representative body of cosmetics industry in Pakistan and bringing gap between the policy framing departments of Government and cosmetics industry.

The Pakistan General Cosmetics Bill was passed by the Senate on 30th July 2023 and after Presidential assent on 3rd August 2023, it came to be known as "Pakistan General Cosmetics Act".
This act is made to regulate the quality, standard labelling, packing, manufacturing, storage, distribution and sales of general cosmetics in Pakistan.

Message From Chairman

I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to members who have shown their confidence in me by electing me as the Chairman of Pakistan Cosmetics Manufacturers Association (PCMA). I am greatly thankful for your support towards me and I sincerely wish that I can fulfill all your hopes that you have laid on me as a Chairman. I also appreciate and acknowledge the contributions of the previous Office bearers of PCMA and I hope that I can add to their good work in my tenure.

Cosmetics industry of Pakistan is a thriving one and is expanding rapidly in its reach. We are contributing majorly towards boosting the country’s economy. At PCMA we aspire to strengthen the local cosmetics industry by uniting them at this platform. I am committed to work at the best of my ability to resolve any issues that are faced by our members/ companies and our industry in general. In this regard, I plan to lay special emphasis on building strong business relations with all relevant forums. We are continually working to empower our local cosmetics industry. My main focus lies on facilitating our members in improving and enhancing their standards in order for them to be able to compete with the international market and add to our country’s exports.

Lastly, I would like to say that your support is my driving force and will enable me to efficaciously serve the purpose for which you have elected me at this position. I hope that the fruit of our efforts is received in the form of a stronger industry which can make a significant positive impact on the growth and prosperity of our beloved country, Pakistan.
